In the past two months, I've learned that I have a serious health problem. I'm receiving treatment at this time and continue to work at the University of Oregon Libraries. I've worked continuously in the library and information technology area since Tuesday, September 1, 1992. Much of my career has been tied to project management. Being involved in PMI work and training has made the last three years has been an important part of my professional work
I feel pretty good at this time and am benefitting from huge support from (first and foremost) my wife Linda and also from family members, particularly my siblings Jack and Georgiann and friends.
My Christian faith is central to me. I've found the writings of C.S. Lewis (including Mere Christianity) to speak to me at this time, along with the lectures of Lewis specialist Jerry Root, such as Root's six YouTube presentations on The Screwtape Letters. Above all, I've found being part of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church to be rewarding and reassuring at this time.
